The Artistic Team invites select dancers to participate in a select number of competitions each season, including Youth Grand Prix Europe and the Irish National Ballet Competition. Dancers who participate have the opportunity to learn classical variations and, in some cases, work with a local choreographer to develop a contemporary solo. Participation in competitions is becoming increasingly important for dancers who aspire to a professional career.
