Mission

At High Points Youth Ballet CIC, our mission is to inspire and uplift young people by offering top-quality classical ballet training and performances across Northern Ireland. We aim to:

Provide intensive pre-vocational ballet training so dancers can pursue technical and artistic excellence in Northern Ireland.
Produce high-quality semi-professional performances that expose our dancers to classical repertoire and enable them to develop artistically.
Contribute to the internationalisation of the Northern Irish dance sector by bringing international guest performing artists and educators to Belfast and by preparing students to be competitive for opportunities abroad.

Vision and Values

We value collaboration, community development, creativity, inclusiveness, safety, and a focus on the whole-person.

We aim to not only support our students to grow technically and artistically but also personally, such as through developing confidence.

We build community by creating opportunities for both current students and alumni who have pursued training and careers abroad, as well as through collaboration with other local artists and organisations.

We advocate for the creation of a vocational ballet school in Northern Ireland where students can pursue academic and artistic excellence and receive a diploma or degree for their efforts.

We envision a professional ballet company in Northern Ireland that would enable talented young dancers to pursue a career at home as well as abroad.

We maintain high ethical and moral standards in personal and professional conduct.
